What happened to Disney.?
The movies were amazing. And they kept getting better.
Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, Snow White, Bambi, Cinderella, Jungle Book, Peter Pan…………and then they started getting even better.
The higlight years were those of Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, LION KING!, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch……..
Then there was a fw mor elike Brother Bear, which were OK.
But then………..there was like a dropoff. No more good movies. No more drawn movies. Every now and then there’d be some crappy Chicken Little or Cars computer animated movie.
How come Disney has bought half the companies on Earth but they cant come up with one decent animated plot! Those classics are what made Disney, Disney!
I’ve been wondering about this too.
Probably, with the new technologies and computers, they want to go with the flow. Modernize it. But I think it’s not excuse for the bland plot lines. I think they focus so much on the cool animations and graphics that they forget about the plot. It’s either that, or people are just making movies for money.
I think the last hand-drawn movie I’ve seen was Curious George. It’s not even Disney.
